Nambawan Café

I'd walked passed this place a few times and finally gave in today to get a bite to eat. Overlooking the waterfront, this is a central spot that is located near the undercover craft market and a number of other eateries.
I had an Aussie Burger and a bottle of water - nice. Price is same as what you'd pay in Australia. No side salad, chips or anything extra - just a burger.
Went back a few days later and had pizza - again not bad. Cleanliness is what you'd expect in Vanuatu if you're not in a resort.
Takeaway food is available. Wifi was actually pretty good - better than my hotel.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Service was lovely and the staff very helpful.

Positives: Great location, good coffee
Negatives: Ordinary breakfast, painfully slow service (had to chase staff for ordered items), staff disinterested

The BEST place for food and coffee in Port Villa.not only the best prices but speedy service, lovely staff and amazing meals.

Nice surroundings. A good place to take a break as the view is easy on the eye and has a good variety of food at reasonable prices.

Located at the ocean walk, the place is very strategy to traveller. The helicopter ride office is within walking distance. The famous China Town is accross the road. The crafts market and various boats operator that access to Iririki and Ifira island. Nambawan cafe also serve good coffees. Movies night is held occasionally here thus the place is lively.

Has movies Wed and Saturday nights. I think it is affiliated with the brewery bar as staff wear the same tshirts. Has a happy hour and on the esplanade but didn't seem like it was busy outside of happy hour. Had a pizza there which was average.

A great spot for lunch, very reasonable with a nice view on the water. Staff helpful and attentive.

Food is cheap and consistent and the staff are lovely. Nice place to relax and take in the Port.

The food was good, the service was good. My only issue was that my plate wasn't clean. Maybe I was expecting too much. I did end up with a bit of a funny tum-tum after this, but that could have been from anything.

The food is worth it, big feeds. Again, burgers and hamburgers dominate. They were good and the kids were full. Beer is plentiful in Vanuatu, and you are never too far from a Tusker.

There are a few other cafes here, but they were closed when we were there. A public toilet is also available for 50 Vatu. Always handy!

Nice place to sit and have a break from the heat in the air conditioning. Good service. Wifi but yr typical Vanuatu slow speed access.

Service is at island pace. The range of food is impressive and of reasonable quality. The setting is wonderful and the atmosphere great.

Nice little cafe place at the promenade of Port Vila. They are playing lounge music during the day and I can recommend their capuccino. A nice athmosphere overall!

Prices are great and the staff and location are great. Some evenings they show a movie on the waterfront.

Great atmosphere and good view in front of the sea. The juice was tasty but the food was terrible.

Nambawan has been around for years and has always been consistently good.

Stop in for breakfast and you will not be disappointed

One of my favourite spots in Port Vila. Great view, free wi-fi and friendly service. Movie screenings every weekend and Wednesday nights. There is however a bit of noise from the nearby development of the foreshore.

Really nice little cafe on the harbour, great mixed juices, cold beer and good food at a reasonably price for Villa.
