My partner and I did the River Kayaking/Cascade full day tour, and it was so good that we signed up for the Volcano Hike/Pele Island tour for the next day. Special thanks to Roy who was an awesome guide on both!

Beautiful spot and great place to take a dip. We did half day including the bridge which was fun and we took some awesome pics. The hospitality was great, friendly vibe. The owners and their staff really care about the place and their sweet dogs. Milly our guide was also very knowledgeable and lovely. Wishing Milly all the best with her studies and her future.

We had most of our meals at Cafe Vila with breakfast included in the holiday we purchased. Cafe Vila provided many meal choices. The staff were great, special mention to Elizabeth, Sarah and Cooksley who made us feel very welcome.

Unwind and relax in the tropical getaway. Vanuatu will experience a El-Nino Summer from Nov 2023 - Feb 2024.

This may indicate less rainfall in the Southern Hemisphere Summer for Vanuatu, with warmer and drier conditions that may indicate drought conditions if sustained times of dryness occur. Water conservation will be important.
Solar Panel electricity may fair very well in a El-Nino.
Tourism may fair well due to splendid weather.

As weather remains fine fishing is available due to sun and favoured winds with OK wave conditions.

Planting of summer fruits and veges is recommended provided there is watering on land (Sweet potato, Corn, Tomatoes, Mangoes).

The adverse weather patterns may exist further east at the Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, Niue expanse east of the dateline with Vanuatu within a lessened risk of a cyclone occurance in the next 3 months although a possibility.

Trade winds will weaken at the equatorial area of the Tropical Pacific = west central and east.

A category 5 (190mph winds) weather system recently sprung from the East Pacific Equatorial area.

Update: Jan 20th 2024.
El-Nino to persist through at least April 2024 in the southern Hemisphere summer.
May bring rainfall north at areas of the central tropical equator then in a thin banding moving eastbound to the South American equatorial waters West regions.

The time frame of Nov 2023-Jan 2024 is when the El-Nino effects will be strongest in this event duration and also brings a weakening of the trade winds system equatorial.

This region is affected via the South Pacific West Warm Pool (North) which is independant of El-Nino and you know what this brings here.

El-Nino brings drought, surface flooding, changed Storm paths and weather system locations, risk of wildfires to specified areas that are affected and prolonged dry patches to designated areas at designated times.

Sea surface temperatures are set to rise during the event at specific areas in the Summer 2024 time frames eminating out from the equator. Recent data sets the south pacific area within this sea surface warming region for early 2024. The Northern Island chain sits within these waters at the warmest regions.

The Closer you are to the equator the warmer the sea temps in the south pacific for early 2024.

Sympa pour un petit apéro avant d'aller manger, cadre bien mais service et restauration a éviter, ce trompe dans la commande (3 fois), cuisson mauvaise et pris de haut par les gérants.
Nice place to have a beer before dinner or lunch, but not for the food and restauration, service is not great (bad order 3 times), cook not as desired and an owner is not very pleasant.

We stayed here for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay even though the beach was not as we expected it to be. Rocky and definitely not for an 8 month old or a 4 year old.

Rooms are spacious, with everything you need.
The downfall of the room is that it didn't have curtains but some blinds that didn't keep out the morning sun. That meant that our children were up from 5ish. We did tell reception but all other rooms were full. So we used beach towels and blankets to keep the sun out.

Pool is good. Children's pool is not as clean as I would like it and the blue pool colour was coming of on my son's and my feet.
We used the adult pool. It's good that it is under the shade!

Breakfast at the cafe villa was ok but very inconsistent. Also not very big for children. One scrambled egg and one piece of bread (this was one dish)

Staff were very very lovely and friendly! Always happy to help.

Location is excellent!
We used the bus many times to get to the city and walked to a closeby beach and to a pizza place nearby.

Also, supermarket just across!

Keep in mind that most places don't accept cards so you need cash on you.

Thank you, we e

Port Orly beach is one of the most beautiful beaches you will find anywhere and Tarcisius is one of the best hosts you will find. We had an amazing time. The bungalows and pretty basic but totally adequate other than lacking some comfortable seating.

We had so much fun and the scooter was the perfect way to see the island. Greg was incredibly accommodating and he pointed out all the places to see on the map and we went to all of them. Highly recommend this business!

We went to Iririki for our honeymoon, and had an incredible stay. So relaxing and beautiful. The service was fantastic, and all of the staff were so helpful and kind. Moana and Lavinia were the best! We had a delicious buffet breakfast every day, cocktails by the pools, delicious food in the bars, incredible cultural dinners and performances! There were lots of activities, and the staff assisted in helping us to book incredible tours and experiences off the island. The free snorkeling was great, we saw beautiful fish! We also kayaked around the island, and saw the sights it was gorgeous. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that our family booked the exact same holiday after us! Definitely recommend.

I recently visited this resort and had an overall positive experience, but the restaurant fell short. On the first night, they forgot one person's food, causing delays and requiring us to complain. The second night, I ordered a steak, but the quality of the meat was so poor that it was impossible to cut with a sharp knife.unbleivable for a pricy steak! Although they offered a replacement, I declined as I lost my appetite they still charged me for the disappointing un touched steak. This resort's only letdown is the restaurant.
