Waterfront Bar and Grill

Decent seafood, lovely staff, live music and a waterfront dining experience. Recommend the beef curry.

Sympa pour un petit apéro avant d'aller manger, cadre bien mais service et restauration a éviter, ce trompe dans la commande (3 fois), cuisson mauvaise et pris de haut par les gérants.
Nice place to have a beer before dinner or lunch, but not for the food and restauration, service is not great (bad order 3 times), cook not as desired and an owner is not very pleasant.

We decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary at the Waterfront today. Well that was a mistake! My husband had Seafood Chowder which had very little flavour. I had prawn cutlets, they were OK, all 5 prawns. Then vegetarian pizza! That was positively DISGUSTING! No other words to describe it. We had one piece between us and had to give it away. The cheese was simply smothered, revolting is the only word that springs to mind. This is definitely a place to avoid - BIG TIME! Don't recommend any dish, there are better places to enjoy! Should you wish to speak to me to authenticate my review, please do. I would welcome it.

Had high hopes re Vanuatu Beef but the scotch steak was absolutely not great.tough. Really disappointing.
The portion sizes were good, the Fish was okay. But it wasnt a stand out for us during our vacation. Wouldn't be rushing back here.

We enjoyed a meal with a seat by the water.

When we where there the ARC rally in and there where plenty of boats.

The boats where running power cables to the posts where you are seated, so you may have a cable hanging near you.

The food was ok but not great.

Service was good with friendly staff, it was a bit noisy but not over the top.

For us it’s the type of place that we may go back to.

Beautiful food and cheerful staff. The only danger is to end on the dance floor. Great entertainment on all day I’ve been.

The atmosphere is nice and tbe vibes are good
The seafood ravioli was tasty but not mucb seafood in it
The catch of the day was snapper, unfortunately it wasn't seasoned well and the vegetables were undercooked but still not back
Overall I'd say more like 3.5 but 4 stars for the views and the friendly staff

This sums ups Port Vila, excellent location, food and service was as usual, nothing is a problem and always with a smile

My wife and i are giving this restaurant another shot. Last night everything was good but we are are trying the very expensive seafood for two platter. I’ve read mixed reviews from being sensational to being half frozen food to great fresh lobster.

This place was amazing. We had the seafood platter for 2 with lobster and it was beautiful. The desserts we had were also very nice. It is a beautiful location and the 2 piece band really set the atmosphere. It's not the cheapest place but it is worth it. Also happy hr from 3pm til 6pm was great for cocktails

Fabulous food, great waterfront location and friendly staff. The live music on Saturday night was fantastic. We had a great night.

We celebrated my birthday here and it was absolutely lovely. Even though the weather was terrible, the service from staff, live music and passionfruit mojito more than made up for it. The garlic prawns and coconut panacotta were absolute standouts, as were the passionfruit mojito and the normal mojito. Special thanks to the staff for my birthday cake and for singing to me- it made my birthday so lovely!

Very nice café with a scenic view! Staff is very friendly and nice. Food is fresh and delicious. I recommend to visit 100%

Absolutely brilliant. The best food on the island. Great staff, Great manager. Reasonable prices. I had the beef curry two nights in a row, it was the best I have eaten anywhere in the world. Top job to the Manager and staff simply perfect. Cheers Pete and Kelly 2023 February

We had a great dinner here. Lots of good food and drink options. Recommend a visit for dinner while you’re visiting.

The best.equal.mojito in the Pacific.but definitely the strongest.worth going to Vanuatu, just to have one with the fresh fish and chips, on the waters edge.

Just had one of the best restaurant experiences in Port Vila. Fantastic location (yes, its on the water) and the food was amazing, with professional, attentive staff. Entertainment was great to listen to, without being too loud and the venue was super clean and tidy.
Couldn't fault a thing.

Special occasion. Seafood platter for two was largely fried. We could have had the same thing at home from the local fish and chip place, and paid a lot less. Very disappointed.

Fantastic meals, great service. Excellent atmosphere.
Came for lunch yesterday, loved it so much we came for tea tonight. Awesome live music
