The Havannah, Vanuatu

We stayed here for 7 nights for our honeymoon. Our stay was just perfect from start to finish! The location, room, service, food, and everything in between was amazing! We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s not just a hotel room you are getting, but a full experience with the best service you are ever likely to find.
If you do stay here, be sure to book the Lelepa Island day tour. It was one of the best things we have ever done!

The staff at The Havannah really went out of their way to make this an amazing hotel experience. Nothing was too much trouble, with five star luxury villas; a world-class restaurant serving thoughtful, tasty meals; and a glorious setting on the beach.

One of the best holidays I have ever been on. Relaxing, attention to detail and fantastic friendly staff. Couldn't fault a thing.

We called in here for sunset cocktails and we wish we had been able to stay the night, it looked amazing. All the guests seems super relaxed and happy. Our cocktails were great and food delicious. The grounds and outlook are beautiful

We have stayed in many luxurious resorts throughout Asia on this is one of the best. If you’re looking for really high and expensive perfection then go somewhere else. What you do find here is a friendly, beautiful resort that serves amazing food. Not that I am not a gourmet chef. I just enjoy a nice meal and that’s what they do. The real difference is the staff cannot do enough. They go out of their way for you in every respect. Totally relaxing hard to fault in any way.

I cannot express how fantastic this place was for our honeymoon and my first overseas trip.

From the moment we arrive it was the "wow factor". Stunning views, friendly helpful staff, the food was phenomenal, the rooms clean and luxurious.

Come back from breakfast and your room has been cleaned to the condition it was when you arrived, come back from dinner and they have attended to your room ready for night time, air con on, bed sheets pulled back, fresh drinking water ready, amazing!

The views are just stunning, and even on the wet or windiest day, it was relaxing and stunning.

Snorkeling off its shores was one of my favorite activities or relaxing by the pool (both the public pool or your private dive pool).

The extras were just perfect too, the private beach picnic over the bay, the romantic jetty dinner, the massage at the day spa (Best massage I have had), and the round island tour with Arthur was just fantastic to see the island, enjoy some of the local locations and getting to understand the way of living of the Vanuatu locals was such a great experience.

We will DEFINITELY be back as we have only scratched the surface of the adventures of Vanuatu and The Havannah was a perfect place to do it from.

We stayed for 5 nights in a pool villa and had an amazing stay. Beautiful location, friendly staff, great facilities and tours. The food was fantastic. As vegetarians we were thrilled with the dedicated vegetarian menu for lunch and dinner every day. Highly recommended. Would love to go back.

OMG this is haven, you want to be treated like a king this is the place staff were awsome meals superb rooms fantastic, entertainment interesting leave that up to you lol, sunsets best I've seen ️ love this place so glad they survived the two cyclones 10/10

We simply love everything about this place, the view on the islands and the sapphire coloured waters is astonishing, the food excellent and the staff super friendly.
We had lunch there on several occasions and we just keep returning.
The staff always accept to move a table on the grass for us so we can eat under the tree looking at the view — I just love this place.
It has a fresh summer vibe perfect with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc on a sunny day.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vanuatu, it’s fantastic.

We came in June 2023 for our Wedding Anniversary. Perfect place and love it is adults only. Sadly the overcast weather and rain let us down and maybe highlighted things that we may have ordinarily overlooked but………

First night there after the plane and car ride here we thought a warm bath may be nice. Wrong! The tap was so slow we had to use the jug and wine bottle cooler to fill it enough to get in. Sadly the plug didn’t seal and the water emptied quickly. 3 times we mentioned to reception and this is our last day and still no working bath.

Second day we went snorkelling. I wasn’t a fan of the bread being fed to the fish as it’s not their natural diet. At arriving at our snorkelling spot the skipper threw the anchor out without any care for the coral and life underneath. I would have thought if this resort sends people there daily they would have an anchor already there in a safe spot and a buoy to tie onto. Job done!

Food is average at best but lacking in many fruit and vegetables. No bananas or paw paws at all. We have had as little as 1/4 of a green bean and 1 slice of a carrot with our meal. Our orders were wrong twice so I had to wait for them to make what I actually ordered and my husband ate his so it didn’t go cold as meals were seldom very warm anyway.

One of the tours I was really interested in the Congoola Day Cruise is still advertised on the website and yet I was told they don’t offer it anymore. Websites should have up to date correct information always.

Wifi ridiculously slow but it is included.

We aren’t usually 5 star people but went the extra cost for the experience and so far has been on par with many 3 or 4 star resorts to be honest.

Havannah Eco Lodge is a beautiful resort that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Paradise! Made the trip here for an afternoon of food and drinks and wished we had stayed here for a couple of nights. Will be back, but to spend a week here. Most relaxing and picturesque place on efate.
Beautiful location with delicious food and drinks!

The resort is stunning. As you walk from the car park to the restaurant the lush greenery gives way to splashes of blue. Entering the restaurant you have amazing views of the ocean and surrounding islands. The resort pool area is on two levels overlooking the bluest waters of the ocean. I was a day visitor and enjoyed it immensely.

This was just fantastic. Our second visit and this time we brought 8 friends. We booked all the pool villas and spent 9 nights in paradise. George the GM took total care of us from the beginning as we had lost luggage and was all over it until it arrived. Roland and John were were wonderful at dinner as was Anita and daisy during the day. Zed piloted us all on brilliant and picturesque afternoon cruises with quite grace. We will be back as soon as we are able as this place is just paradise.

If you think of a luxury beachfront villa holiday of your dreams, you are picturing this place. The rooms are incredible, staff are friendly and Professional and so many things to do and see. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or honeymoon.

Best holiday we have ever had! Food is fantastic, the setting is romantic and the sunset view from the restaurant stuns you more each day. The entertainment and sunset cruise was a highlight. Such a relaxing and charming holiday to simply do nothing and nap with your partner in the sun. Definitely recommend and hope to be back again next year!

The staff were so friendly and happy and we will miss them. George, Ann, Loma, John, Winnie, Marco, Ronald, Anita, Siema, Arthur, our transfers driver who's name escapes me at the minute and everyone who I don't remember their names were like our family for the week. Even the other guests. We are so blessed to meet them.
It speaks to how beautiful the community and country is. Speaking of, you’ll have no dramas with locals, everyone is so lovely and helpful here.
We had booked this trip with the worst travel agency and received no help when our flights were cancelled. The resort manager, George was awesome and worked it all out for us, sorting us out two more nights for us. He also helped me when my phone went into apple restore mode.
We loved the activities and water sports.
We booked a pool villa and were thrilled, had awesome views and the room was so nice and comfortable. They also go above and beyond with room service.
Not to mention the food is soooo tasty and good portions so you don’t get fat on holidays.

If I could give The Havannah 6 stars I would…. Everything from the accommodation the service the food and activities was 2nd to none. If are thinking about booking just do it you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing location, with very friendly staff that will go above and beyond to ensure your experience is great. The beach was pristine and most times we were the only ones on the beach. Also the snorkelling was great as well!
