Beautiful spot and great place to take a dip. We did half day including the bridge which was fun and we took some awesome pics. The hospitality was great, friendly vibe. The owners and their staff really care about the place and their sweet dogs. Milly our guide was also very knowledgeable and lovely. Wishing Milly all the best with her studies and her future.

Rustic but beautiful. The pools make the entire trip worth it. In the lower pools look for the swing!

Looks like something out of a video game. Lush and simply a stunning location. Definitely recommend stopping in.

This place was a wonderful adventure for all ages, very friendly, lots of things to explore with photo worthy areas at every turn, the river is fresh and cool in the heat with plenty of tree cover, a playground for children and lunch on offer

Whilst in Port Vila for a day, we decided to visit Eden on the River for a scenic dip in some refreshing water.

Looking for transport out there, we could not get a taxi out there for less than $100AUD, which is simply ridiculous.
If you can, book ahead on TripAdvisor and organise with pick up and drop off if you can. Otherwise, like us, you'll be stung a costly taxi ride that leaves you feeling sick.

Eden on the River itself is nice.
Entry for adults (14 years+) is 1000VT for general entry into the river.
After making payment at the reception area, the host walked us to the start of the stairs down to the river.

Walking down the stairs can be very slippery when wet, so take caution when walking down these.

The river itself is scenic and picturesque. It's exactly as it is portrayed on the reviews.
There is an entry to slide down a natural waterfall, and to the left of that is the general entry point for the river.

There are some soft tunes there for floating and some small thin rainbow coloured ones as well. There were only two black tubes when we were there, so thankfully, we were able to get one each. The other colourful ones don't withstand the weight of people to properly be buoyant.they are designed for the natural waterside.

We spent about an hour there, which was the perfect amount of time.
We got to watch others complete the over water bridge walks whilst floating, which was pretty cool.

Would I recommend this place? Maybe not for super young children (under the age of 10) as the waters can become very deep and very quick to pull you away from the river area if you're not careful.
Anyone with hip, back or knee issues may find it difficult to enter and exit the water due to the steep incline and lack of footing / handrails.
I definitely recommend reef shoes (aquasocks) if you have them, as those rock ledges are sharp if you happen to bounce into them!

But for those with pre teens, teenagers and above, it's definitely worth a visit.

We cannot comment on the minigolf as we did not see it whilst there.

Eden on the River is an apt name for this location. Your time here will be well spent engaging in the adventure walks and bridge crossings. The fruit-salad plate at the end was a fitting close to this tour.

Mostly, the harness is not required (although mandatory). Would have really enjoyed the rope-bridge crossing without the harness.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Away from the bustle of Port Vila, this is perfect place to relax and enjoy the gorgeous nature of the island.

The people were lovely, the owner showed us around on a little tour of the property.
The grounds were stunning, everything was just green, luscious and beautiful.
And with our pass we were provided a fresh fruit platter which was some of the best fruit I’ve ever tasted and lunch which was all delicious!
Definitely want to go back when they have more tours of the property opening up.

One such Best get aways in Vanuatu. Every corner of this place has got something to soothe your soul. Thanks to the owners, they maintained it so well and the hard-work they put to give us best experience of the culture must be appreciated.

It was a lovely well kept place for nature lovers or thrill seeker. It rained night before so river water was raging it becomes a thrill walk along the hanging bridge and it was exhilarating and exciting

Great place for swimming and playing in the little waterfalls but limited facilities. Cafe/tourist area has limited seating and not much shade, food also took forever so don't order unless you're happy to wait in the heat. Further down, the swimming holes were beautiful, much cooler and a great time. Worth a visit for an afternoon of water fun in a lush tropical place.

Beautiful place but too crowded and too much infrastructure. Selling refreshments rather than asking to pay for the entry would make the experience more pleasant.

Beautiful swimming hole, absolutely refreshing on a hot, humid day. If you look close enough you can spot some fresh water fish, crabs and crayfish in the river.

We just paid for the basic entrance to look around the gardens and take a swim which was well priced. Gardens look to be well looked after with a good variation in local plants. It is it out of the way so make sure you have a rental car or your taxi driver will stick around for you. Expect it to be about a 10,000 vatu round trip.

Beautiful. Serene and amazing. However the price packages are really confusing. You have to pay standard $12 aud entry PLUS any other packages, which range from $25-100 aud. You don't end up doing half the activities because it's either raining or the staff don't direct you properly. However I liked figuring things out on my own:).

The river and rock pools are spectacular. The staff are lovely. The animal park is really a few chickens, pigs and goats. The kids park is more of a tyre obstacle course. It's all pretty low fi. But I'd still go again.

This place was stunning. Just beautiful! We had the whole place to ourselves for the first little while (before the cruise ship tourists showed up!). I would definitely recommend coming early so you can beat the crowds and enjoy how serene and tranquil this place is! We also didn't book on a tour but just hired a taxi and came out alone, it was definitely the best way to do it! If you have small kids, they have inflatable tube rings they can use. We did this for our 22 month old, our 4 year old was fine in his swimming vest.

Highly recommend!

Nice spot, lovely little swimming holes made for a nice family day out. Nice variation to look at a few animals, have a play in the park a walk round the gardens and a swim. Didn't give the mini golf or bridge walk a go but looked fun.
