Amazing time in Port Vila, I hired an E bike from Greg, he was so professional and attentive setting the bike up for me.

Extensive knowledge of the area enabled me to see the best spots on the island. A stones throw away from the ship you can visit some awesome parts of this paradise island, perfect way to experience Vanuatu is on an E bike.

Best way to explore Vanuatu! Moped was well maintained and no problems for 2 up cruising around the island. Even the helmets were in good nick.

Greg was super helpful providing maps, spare fuel, and most importantly, his wealth of knowledge about where to go and what to do in Vanuatu.

Don’t bother with hiring a car or van for the day, this is a much better experience

Stopped off in Port Vila on a cruise and popped into eBikes to see if they had any eBikes left to hire.

From the moment we stepped into air conditioned showroom, we were knew we were in the right place. Greg fixed us up with 2 bikes (both of which were in excellent condition) and helped us with a map and invaluable hints and tips - all at a reasonable price.

We went to the resort he recommended and then onto a beautiful nearby bay where we had a lovely swim to cool off. Then off to the town area to buy some duty free then back to eBikes and still had 3/4 battery life left!

I can highly recommend eBikes for good quality bikes and super friendly service and advice.

TOURIST BEWARE! Don’t let the “friendly” Australian owner of E-bikes aka Greg fool you! He is a total scam artist! I recently visited Vanuatu via cruise ship which only allowed 1 day on the island.

8 weeks prior to my arrival I found e-bikes online and contacted Greg over the phone to find out more information and ended up booking 2 mopeds for the day. I explained to Greg that we had minimal experience, he was lovely and reassured me that it was all straight forward and not to worry as he will show us the “ropes”… I then paid for the 2 hires online. Fast forward to our arrival, we spent 45 - 50 mins slogging it to the hire place from the boat only to be greeted with the same Greg who all was not the friendly Aussie bloke I had spoken to 8 weeks ago, at first he appeared “confused” regarding our booking trying to palm us off, he then began asking me and my sister if we had ridden mopeds before, when I told him that we had not for a number of years and reminded him of our phone conversation he proceeded to become agitated and rude and stated that he is not here to teach us and he will not allow us to ride with no experience and began to threaten us stating that any damage minor or major would incur thousands of dollars from us! Stuck with no alternate option or phone reception, I asked if he would call us a taxi he then stated after already ruining our day that there is no point, they will all be booked out now and your stuffed! He refused to give us a refund! Having no alternate back up plan, my sister and I had to navigate our way which caused much time inconvenience and as a result ruined our day and our experience of Vanuatu! Please do not trust this person, it’s honestly not worth it!

Scooters are well priced, amazing bloke running the joint, good way to get around the main part of the island.

Definetly a great place to rent a bike for the day! Greg was super helpful with everything around the island. We had an amazing day and would definetly do it again if we come back. Thanks very much Greg!

We were staying out on paradise point 10 mins out of town. We hired a scooter for the weekend and really makes a difference not to rely on the buses for a couple of days. We went to Edan and the cascade falls, whipped around town and the coast. Best time ever. The bike was awesome and handled my wife and myself with no issues.
We did 200km plus and the cost of petrol was nothing. Greg was super helpful and contactable, if you forget how to open the seat

Great and easy way to go around the island. Very comfortable, big petrol tank. Lovely gentleman running the business, he gave me great tips. Also very flexible in terms of timing and availibility! On top of that u can rent snorkel and mask with him! Thank you again!

Highly highly recommend Greg and ebikes Vanuatu - we recently visited and had the absolute best experience from him, right from before we arrived to after we dropped our mopeds off, he really went above and beyond. Mopeds were an awesome way to see so much of the island at your own free will, so easy and well priced, definitely worth checking this place out!

Highly recommend hiring a banana scooter from Greg from eBikes, very decent price and great way to see the place. I hired a scooter (125cc I think moped) and had the best time seeing the place had an absolute ball and saw quite a bit of the place. Disclosure I was wearing a helmet (required) just a photo

We hired 2 ebikes with child seats from eBikes Vanuatu and they were awesome! It made it so easy to get around (and up hills) with our 2 and 4 year olds and see things that we would not have otherwise! Greg was super helpful and nothing was too much trouble! I want an ebike at home now!

We rented two bikes and rode to honeymoon beach and around town for the day. It was easy to use once you get the hang of it and really good for uphills! Tricks your mind that you have been excercising all day. 100% recommend

We had a great day exploring around Port Vila with Greg's very easy and comfy ebikes. We had a bit of trouble with the booking page but rang Greg and soon had it sorted with the bikes already at Breakas resort. A great way to spend the day. We went out to the Etmat Bay beach for a lovely swim, back around the port, had a rest back at the resort then went out to the point to honeymoon beach. Lots of steep hills were easily climbed and we did an easy 40km with a cooling breeze.

Greg's bikes gave us a wonderful holiday on Efate, allowing us to spend 5 days cycling around the island, staying at Banana Bay Beach Resort, Le Life and Havannah Eco Lodge along the way. We were a gang of 7 friends who flew from NZ with our panniers, and took a taxi straight to collect the bikes. Greg had the bikes fully tested and ready for us to start riding, so we set off immediately. The bikes were new, well prepared, reliable, safe and fun to use. After clearing the traffic of Vila we found the road conditions easy riding, with very light traffic, mostly local taxi vans that gave us a wide berth. Greg warned us to look out for potholes, but they were not an issue as the coral subsurface meant they were easy to see. When we had a mechanical glitch on the last day with one of the bikes, Greg was on the job, bringing a replacement as soon as he got our call. Just what you want.eBikes Vanuatu are a really valuable addition to the tourist experience of Efate, as they let you explore the countryside and villages where the locals' greetings of waves, smiles and hello's are welcoming and memorable. Beaches, forests and wide landscapes of spectacular banyan trees are well worth visiting.
